Woolverstone has a fascinating history which has largely been shaped by the ownership and development of Woolverstone Hall, the seat of the Berners family from 1773 to 1937.
The small village of Woolverstone had a vital part to play in D-Day, the largest amphibious invasion in the history of warfare. An exhibition took place on 8th and 9th June 2024 and the exhibition boards can be viewed in full here:
